Spring 2004, Ripon College Magazine from the Class Notes

Richard L. Jones of Sun City, AZ, died Feb. 14. He was a retired doctor of obstetrics and gynecology, having earned his degree at Northwestern Medical School. During World War II he left private practice to serve in the Navy in a naval hospital unit in the South Pacific,l He reached the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He semi-retired from New York state to Sun City in 1970, where he continued to practice, providing care to indigent patients in the Maricopa County Health System before fully retiring. He was an avid life-long golfer and New York Giants fan. Survivors include two sons.
