Carlos A. Velarde '52 of Panama City, Panama, died Feb. 20, 1996. He was a retired professor of economics at the University of Panama. He most recently was an economic advisor for the Sta. Rosa Sugar Company. Survivors include his wife, Adda, two sons and two daughters.
