President and Mrs. Joyce also joined us for cocktails. There were drinks, an excellent dinner, dancing, visiting and an excellent time was had by all. - Many apologies for the tremendous delay in news of updates. Updates should occur with greater frequency again. We can only attribute it to post-Centennial malaise.

- A couple member pages were updated and several deaths were recorded.
- A slight editing change has been made to all pages to change the name of the audio-related pages on the site from "Tau-Ster" or "τ-Tunes" to "θσ-τunes." The first term was considered badly dated and the second was considered to be a little hard to interpret.

- ° Website Updates {16-NOV-2009}
-
- Seven pledges activated this semester. Welcome to Nathan, Caitlin, Mandy, Lucas, Katrina, Rachel, and Vicki!
- One student was inducted as an Honorary this semester. Welcome to Michelle.
- Welcome to Clint McCully (1969), who recently found the website and got in touch! Great to have you back!
- The Centennial Reunion Committee has been working on designing the two glasses that will be used to commemorate the event. The Committee has also begun to discuss the menu options.
- With the permission of the House we have obtained most of the House photo albums and will be scanning many of the pictures we don't yet have scanned.
- Thanks to Rachel Tennyson, one of our newest members, we have had a number of Crimson's added to the Alumni Association collection. We will scan portions of these, as well, to add to the Crimson pages and to individual's pages.
- As another step in making the site more complete, we are considering making an archive of the Activation stories. This archive would not be available or accessible by many: perhaps the President of the House and the Historian. But recording the stories for the sake of posterity would be a good thing since many older ones are no longer told and many of the details get fuzzy over the years.
- Thanks go out to recent donors to the House, Alumni Association, and Centennial Reunion. Thanks to Bruce Davis, Bryan Kuhn, and Cat Wood.
- ° Website Updates {20-SEP-2009}
-
- The house has six pledges for the Fall pledging period. Welcome to Nathan, Caitlin, Mandy, Lucas, Katrina, and Rachel! Good luck with pledging and we hope to be able to welcome you to the house later this term!
- The dates for live-in, activation, and Halloween are not yet set in stone. The plan for Halloween is Friday, October 30, but that's not official yet.
- The Centennial Reunion Committee has been quiet of late, but is gearing up to get the planning and organization for our Reunion Dinner taken care of. The Centennial Reunion Dinner will be June 27, 2010, a Sunday, in Oshkosh, WI. That's the Sunday of Alumni Weekend 2010, so go to alumni weekend and cap it off with our reunion!
- A few other minor updates here and there on the site have taken place.
- ° Website Updates {5-JUN-2009}
-
- As a result of the Centennial "save-the-date" mailing, several alumni have gotten in touch. These include:
- Robert Hess (1952), who sent a couple of home DVDs from the 2007 Alumni Weekend where he reconnected with a few old friends. Robert has corresponded with Plenz several times and is a wealth of information about his time at Ripon.
- Ken Luber (1960), who intends to try to make it to the Reunion dinner and also let us know about the book he just published, Match to the Heart.
- Lawrence TeSelle (1949), who sent us a package with several alumni newsletters that date from just after World War II until 1949, a dance card from one of Theta Sigma Tau's annual Barn Dances, several group shots of members of the House, and his certificate of membership! The newsletters have been scanned and posted to the Newsletters page of this site. The other items will be scanned and posted soon.
- The Members' Websites page has been updated to eliminate some link rot and to add a couple new items.
- A new exploder was created and populated with the addresses of actives and alumni living in the greater Milwaukee area (and anyone who lives close enough to take an interest) to make regional announcements and activity organizing easier than ever. If alumni and actives in other regions would like to have an exploder created for their area, simply contact Plenz
- A few other minor updates here and there on the site have taken place.
